PENDIDIKAN PROGRESIF JOHN DEWEY: RELEVANSINYA DENGAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DI INDONESIA

Tulisan ini mengurai dengan rinci tentang salah satu pemikiran filsuf John Dewey dalam memandang pendidikan progresif. Penulis mencoba merelevansikan antara progresif Islam di Indonesia. Dengan itu, metode penulisan menggunakan deskriptif analisis yang telah diperoleh dari library research, sumber literatur relevan dan realibel, seperti buku, jurnal, artikel, lain sebagainya. Tetapi sebelum memperoleh pemahaman secara detail, lantaran demikian penulis memaparkan terlebih dahulu terkait biografi itu sendiri beserta latar belakang substansi guna mengetahui pola pemikirannya. Hal implisit begitu relevan, pada kondratnya hanya lebih mengutamakan akhlak mulia mengamalkan ajaran beragama, namun juga sebuah potensi pengalaman melalui Al-Qur’an, sebagaimana menurut bahwa disebut bilamana setiap aspek per individu diorganisir, bukan ditekan, sangat menitik beratkan bekerja atas kemampuannya menyelesaikan berbagai persoalan ada.
